Binding Agreement

By registering for Youth IPL programs, accessing our website, or participating in our activities, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions, along with our Privacy Policy.

1.1 Scope of Agreement

These Terms and Conditions apply to:

  • All Participants: Players registering for trials and programs
  • Parents/Guardians: Of participants under 18 years of age
  • Website Users: Anyone accessing our digital platforms
  • Program Stakeholders: Coaches, staff, and affiliated personnel
  • Event Attendees: Spectators and visitors at Youth IPL events

1.2 Legal Capacity

  • Adult Participants (18+): Must personally agree to these terms
  • Minor Participants (Under 18): Parent/guardian must provide consent and agreement
  • Verification: We reserve the right to verify age and legal capacity
  • Representative Authority: Parents/guardians represent they have authority to bind the minor

1.3 Continuing Agreement

  • Ongoing Obligation: Agreement continues throughout participation period
  • Updated Terms: Acceptance of modified terms as they are published
  • Withdrawal Rights: Right to withdraw from programs if disagreeing with terms
  • Survival Clauses: Certain provisions continue after program completion

Important Notice

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms and Conditions, you must not participate in Youth IPL programs or use our services. Participation constitutes full acceptance of all terms.

3. Eligibility Requirements

3.1 Age Requirements

  • Minimum Age: 13 years (as of trial date)
  • Maximum Age: 19 years (as of trial date)
  • Age Categories:
    • Under-16: Ages 13-15
    • Under-19: Ages 16-19
  • Age Verification: Valid government-issued ID required
  • Age Fraud: Misrepresentation of age results in immediate disqualification

3.2 Geographic Eligibility

  • Nationality: Indian citizens and residents
  • State Representation: Must represent state of residence or birth
  • Documentation: Valid address proof required
  • Transfer Rules: Limited transfers between state teams
  • Overseas Participants: Special approval required for non-residents

3.3 Cricket Experience

  • Skill Level: Open to all skill levels from beginner to advanced
  • Previous Experience: No minimum experience required
  • Team History: Previous team affiliations must be disclosed
  • Playing Position: Participants can register for multiple positions
  • Performance Standards: Must meet basic fitness and skill assessments

3.4 Health & Fitness Requirements

  • Medical Clearance: Valid fitness certificate from registered medical practitioner
  • Physical Fitness: Adequate physical condition for cricket participation
  • Medical Conditions: Full disclosure of any medical conditions or allergies
  • Injury History: Previous significant injuries must be reported
  • Insurance: Valid sports/health insurance strongly recommended

3.5 Disciplinary History

  • Clean Record: No significant disciplinary actions in cricket
  • Disclosure Requirement: Must report any bans or suspensions
  • Background Check: Youth IPL may conduct verification checks
  • Appeal Process: Procedures for challenging eligibility decisions
  • Rehabilitation: Consideration for participants with reformed conduct

Ineligibility Consequences

Failure to meet eligibility requirements or providing false information will result in immediate disqualification from all Youth IPL programs. Registration fees are non-refundable in cases of ineligibility due to false information.

5. Program Structure & Rules

5.1 Trial Structure

Program Flexibility

Youth IPL reserves the right to modify program structure, rules, and schedules as necessary for the safety, development, and enjoyment of all participants. All changes will be communicated promptly to participants and parents.

6. Participant Responsibilities

6.1 Attendance & Punctuality

  • Regular Attendance: Consistent participation in trials, training, and matches
  • Punctuality: Arrive on time for all scheduled activities
  • Advance Notice: Prior notification for absences or late arrivals
  • Makeup Sessions: Limited opportunities for makeup sessions
  • Attendance Records: Maintained for performance evaluation

6.2 Preparation & Equipment

  • Physical Preparation: Maintain adequate fitness for participation
  • Personal Equipment: Provide required personal cricket equipment
  • Safety Gear: Proper safety equipment for all activities
  • Uniform Standards: Adhere to prescribed uniform requirements

Responsibility Violations

Failure to meet participant responsibilities may result in warnings, suspension, or removal from the program. Participants are expected to take ownership of their development and contribute positively to the program environment.

7. Code of Conduct

Zero Tolerance

Youth IPL maintains zero tolerance for violence, discrimination, harassment, or substance abuse. Serious violations may result in immediate suspension or permanent removal from all programs without refund.

8. Health & Safety

While Youth IPL maintains comprehensive safety measures and insurance coverage, cricket inherently involves risk of injury. Participants and parents must carefully consider these risks and ensure adequate personal insurance coverage.

12. Refund & Cancellation Policy

12.1 Participant-Initiated Cancellations

  • Early Cancellation: Cancellations more than 30 days before trial: 80% refund
  • Standard Cancellation: Cancellations 15-30 days before trial: 50% refund
  • Late Cancellation: Cancellations less than 15 days before trial: 25% refund
  • No-Show: No refund for no-shows or cancellations on trial day
  • Processing Fee: Administrative processing fee applies to all refunds

12.2 Medical Cancellations

  • Medical Documentation: Valid medical certificate required
  • Serious Injury/Illness: Full refund for serious medical conditions

In some circumstances, Youth IPL may offer alternatives to refunds such as credit toward future programs, partial participation options, or transfer to different locations or dates.

Termination Consequences

Termination for cause (misconduct, violations, etc.) may result in permanent ban from all future Youth IPL programs and loss of all benefits without refund. Termination records may affect future cricket opportunities.

16. Modifications to Terms
